Dinesh Gundu Rao or M B Patil to head KPCC

Bengaluru: As Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, Dr G Parameshwar, has been made the deputy chief minister of the state, there is probability of another person being given the mantle of the state Congress. The names of M B Patil, former minister, who has been shockingly precluded the post from claiming the minister or Dinesh Gundu Rao, working leader of KPCC, may get this post, sources say. M B Patil had initiated development looking for partitioned religious status to Lingayat.

Discussions were held with national leader of Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, within the sight of different leaders on this issue. It is said that Rahul Gandhi has requested that Dinesh Gundu Rao be prepared to end up KPCC president. 

In the in the interim, designated individual from the Legislative Council, Dr Jayamala, happens to be the solitary woman in the new bureau. According to the rules, if there is a minister among the Legislative Council members, he or she progresses toward becoming leader of that House consequently. All things considered, Jayamala will turn into the leader of the House in the Legislative Council.
