Mescom installs electricity pole in a drain

Ajekar: A electricity pole installed in a water drain by Mescom department at Bharat colony within Karkala municipality limits has become a cause of problem for the residents here.

A building was constructed near the old electricity pole. Considering the electricity pole to be cated to close to the building, Mescom department installed a new pole.

But the new pole has been installed in the middle of the drain meant for the flow of rai water during the monsoon which may end up inundating the houses located here. The possibility that this will cause a problem to the people here cannot be denied.

Therefore, the unscientifically installed electricity pole needs to be removed and placed somewhere else, demand the people.
