ACB teams raid houses, offices of 9 officials at 40 places including Mangaluru, Udupi

ACB conducted raids on the houses of 9 government officers on charges of acquiring assets illegally.  A team of about 300 ACB officials conducted the raid at 40 different places simultaneously.

The raids were conducted on the residences of officials at Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Udupi, Malur, Bidar, Mandya, Vijayapura and Ballari.

A team of officials raided the residence of Krishna S Hebsur, executive engineer of Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (KRIDCL) around 6 am at Doddanagude, Udupi.

ACB sleuths also raided the residence and office of H R Krishnappa, assistant director, Urban Planning, Malur. The team has been scrutinizing the documents which were found during the raid at Krishnappa’s house in Shivamogga.

Electrical inspector Vijay Kumar’s house was raided by the officials and vital documents have been confiscated. It is said that several complaints were registered against Vijay Kumar in this regard.

ACB officials raided the house of G Sridhar, executive engineer of the district city development unit situated in Mangaluru. The intense inquiry of Sridhar is in progress.

Houses of other officials which were raided include, KRIDCL – Bengaluru Chief Engineer, R.B. Kulakarni; Rural Development Bidar – Junior Engineer Suresh Mohare; Social Forest Department, Mandya TDCF Venkatesh; BESCOM Vijayanagar AEE Mallikarjun; in Bengaluru residences of Senior Motor Vehicles Inspector Krishnamurthy.
