Bantwal: 2 arrested in murder attempt of BC Road youth

Bantwal: Two people were arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a man on Sunday.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Imran (38) and Mohammed Safwan (21).

The duo had fatally assaulted Manoj, a resident of Brahmarakotlu, at Ajjibettu Cross in BC Road on the evening of April 4.

A case was registered at the Bantwal town police station after the incident.

A police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Valentine D’Souza was successful in pursuing the culprits.
