Bike-car collision near Kaup leaves rider seriously injured

Kaup: A bike rider sustained severe injuries in a collision between a car and a bike near the K1 Hotel Junction on National Highway 66 on Saturday morning.

The injured rider, identified as Suresh from Kadiyali, has been admitted to Manipal Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred when a Kerala-registered car, traveling in the same direction, collided with the bike heading towards Kaup from Udupi.

A severely injured Suresh was transported to the hospital in an ambulance.

The collision caused a temporary traffic disruption in the area. Kaup police arrived at the scene and restored smooth traffic flow.
