B’luru: Student writes ‘Sorry’ on Instagram before killing self

‎Bengaluru:‎‎ In a shocking incident, an undergraduate student wrote sorry on his Instagram account before killing himself.

The student, Manoj (19), a resident of Bhuvaneshwari Nagar in Jnanabharathi here, was found hanging on Thursday morning by his family at his residence.

According to sources, Manoj was pursuing a BCom degree at a private college in the city. For the past few days, he was quite depressed and did not mix with anyone. He would go straight to his room, once back from college, and keep quiet.

On Wednesday, after finishing his dinner, he had locked himself in his room. When his family tried to wake him up for going to college, he was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room.

Police visited the spot and collected evidence. The mortal remains were handed over to the kin after conducting an autopsy at the Victoria Hospital.
