Chikkamagaluru: Song shoot stopped after miscreants misbehave with actress Subha Poonja

Chikkamagaluru: A group of miscreants harassed actress Shubha Poonja during the shoot of a son for a film at Maidadi Gudda in Kudremukh here on Saturday.

The film team stopped the shoot following the incident.

The incident occurred during the shoot of the song of the film Koraganna, being directed by Sudhir Attavar. Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya as well as 50 other artistes, were at the filming location.

A group of unidentified youths reportedly arrived at the scene grabbed hold of Shubha’s hand and misbehaved with her.

In a statement, director Sudhir Attavar said that the way the youths behaved was painful and reprehensible.  The youths behaved rudely and this led to a situation where the filming had to be stopped.

Sudhir said the incident took place in Kudremukh police station limits of Kalasa taluk of Chikkamagaluru district and no complaint has been registered regarding the incident at present.
