Malleshwaram police have arrested two persons, including a guest lecturer, for leaking the questions of the examination for assistant professor posts in government colleges.

Soumya, a guest lecturer from Mysuru, and a Bengaluru-based man were arrested for allegedly leaking 18 questions of the examinations conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) in March this year.

Police said that Sowmya sent 18 questions related to a geography paper to a few persons on her WhatsApp, one hour before the exam. The questions were widely circulated thereafter.

A complaint was lodged at the MAlleshwaram police station by the KEA Executive director Ramya after the authority received several complaints from aspirants about the leak.
