Karkala: 34-year-old dies of heart attack while playing volleyball

Karkala: A 34-year-old man who had collapsed while playing volleyball breathed his last at a hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Santhosh.

Santhosh had collapsed while playing volleyball at the Durga Aided School playground in Kukkundur on February 25. He had been rushed to the government hospital.

He died without responding to treatment. The doctors confirmed that he had suffered a heart attack.

It is learnt that Santhosh had suffered a mild heart attack about 4 years ago when he had been employed in Bengaluru.

A case has been registered at Karkala city police station.
