KSRTC bus services to Mangaluru International Airport to begin soon

Mangaluru: The KSRTC Mangaluru division has decided to launch the long-awaited KSRTC low-floor air-conditioned Volvo bus service to the Mangaluru International Airport, from October 27.

Volvo buses will ply from Mangaluru Central Railway Station and Manipal to Mangaluru International Airport.

A meeting was held with the airport authority to arrange for facilities, including free parking space.

There was long-pending demand for direct bus service to MIA and transport minister B Sriramulu directed the department officials to consider the service on priority. The services were delayed due to permit issues.
