Man deducted $1 from fiance’s Valentines day gift every time she yelled

On TikTok, a man revealed that every time his fiancee yelled at him, he removed $1 from her Valentine’s Day gift budget.

Isaac Ramirez (@iisaac.ramirezz) of Santa Paula, California, decided to deduct a dollar from his fiancee Carolina Fernandez’s Valentine’s Day present budget for each time she yelled at him in the previous year.

Isaac proudly displayed a Valentine’s Day 2022 envelope. “Last year I put $360 (Rs 27,000) away for my fiancée’s Valentine’s Day gift, but I took away $1 (Rs 75) every day she yelled at me,” he wrote.

The clip then turned to him withdrawing some of the money from the envelope and placing it in another envelope with the words ‘Treat yourself king’ scribbled on it.

“Now her gift limit is $40 (Rs 3,000) and I saved myself $320 (Rs 24,000),” he added.

“Now all she’s getting is flowers and chocolates,” read the caption.

Others were less impressed with Isaac’s approach, even if he believed it was ingenious. Due to’red flags,’ many people urged that the pair call it quits.

Isaac, on the other hand, argued that everything was in good humour and that he and Carolina were happy together.
