Man injured in accidental gunshot at Vamanjoor

Mangaluru: A man sustained injuries after an accidental gunshot in Vamanjoor on Monday evening, January 6.

The injured individual has been identified as Safwan.

The incident occurred at a shop in Vamanjoor, where Safwan was inspecting a revolver reportedly brought by a customer. During the inspection, the revolver accidentally discharged, and the bullet struck Safwan in the abdomen.

Police sources have confirmed that the incident was purely accidental.
