MILAP to organize workshop for children

Manipal: Manipal International Literature and Arts Platform (MILAP) 2019 will conduct a workshop for children between 10 and 14 years of age from May 13 to 18, 2019. Called “Happily Ever After: A Story a Day”, the workshop will be on story-telling, narration, story writing and enacting, and other fun-filled activities.

MILAP is hosting the workshop for children as a precursor to the annual festival in September. It will also encourage children to engage with arts which require focused programming and curation. MILAP is an annual Literary festival hosted in Manipal and is inspired by the long-standing efforts of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) towards appreciation of literature and culture. It provides a vibrant and non-commercial space for writers, artists, literary critics and students to connect with each other and begin a dialogue. The festival celebrates literary, performance and visual arts. Authors, poets, scholars and artists from India and abroad will be a part of several events of the festival.
