New MCC commissioner assumes charge

Mangaluru: Shanadi Ajith Kumar Hegde took charge as the commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation on Tuesday, September 17.

Previously serving as additional director and chief accounts officer of watershed development department at Bengaluru, Hegde was appointed as MCC commissioner with immediate effect on Monday, September 16 by the state government.

He is replacing Mohammed Nazeer who has been posted as managing director of Mangaluru Smart City Limited(MSCL).
