He claimed that the allegations levelled against him were “baseless and completely false.” Further, he said that he had chosen to remain silent so far to uphold the dignity and honour of his constituency.

The baseless statements by the defeated Congress candidate were damaging the reputation and dignity of Karkala, accusing them of lacking social commitment, he added.
