Praveen Nettaru murder case: NIA sleuths arrest main accused

Sullia: NIA sleuths probing the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activist Praveen Nettaru have reportedly arrested the main accused from Sakleshpur in Hassan district on May 10.

Two other persons who gave him shelter have also been taken into custody.

On 26 July, 2022, Praveen Nettaru was brutally murdered by miscreants in Bellare. Earlier, the NIA issued a lookout notice for Mustafa and announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for the informer.

In January last year, the NIA filed a charge sheet against 20 people. According to the NIA chargesheet, Praveen Nettaru was killed with sharp weapons as part of PFI’s agenda to create communal discord and unrest in society.
