Puttur: Man abuses, threatens Mescom official for rejecting his application; case filed

Puttur: A case has been filed against an electrical contractor for allegedly abusing and threatening an official at Mescom sub-divisional office in Bannur here over the rejection of his application for agricultural irrigation pump set.

The accused Mohammed Nisar, an electrical contractor created a scene at the Mescom office on June 14 afternoon by verbally abusing and threatening Ramesh for rejecting his application

A complaint in this regard was lodged by Mescom Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Ramachandra at Puttur police station.

It is said that Nisar’s application had been rejected in accordance with the rules of the department.
