On Sunday, a day before Nagarapanchami, the price for the jasmines in the market for one Atte was decided to be at Rs 1,050. This rise in prices has brought of pleasure among the jasmine cultivators and sellers.
On Feb 9, 2019, the price of one Atte was at Rs 1,250. After this, the season waned and the prices never recovered. Eventually, the prices of the much in demand jasmines fell to as low as Rs 50 per ate. However, now the sun has risen again. The prices which were at Rs 540 on Aug 2 rose to Rs 730 on Aug 3.
Now, the rise in the prices for the jasmine in the middle of the monsoon season has made the cultivators happy. The same price may carry on for another two days.
