SSLC exam fee to increase from next year

Bengaluru: Students writing the SSLC exams next year will now have to pay higher fees after the Secondary Education Examination Board revised the fee from Rs.365 to Rs.440.

The fee is said to rise for the students who are reappearing for the exams also. Earlier the re-examination fees was Rs.240 which is now revised to Rs.290 for one subject, Rs.350 for two subjects and Rs.390 to Rs.440 for three or more subjects. The fee for laminated marks card remains the same at Rs.20. The department has also hiked the daily remuneration for teachers and examination officials on duty. The High School Teachers Association has expressed gratitude to the department for considering their long-pending plea for reconsideration of remuneration.

However, the fee will not change for the students appearing for the exam in March/April 2018.
