Student killed in bike-truck collision

Mangaluru: A 21-year-old student was killed on spot after his bike rammed into a truck at Valachil near here on Tuesday, March 26.

The deceased, identified as Tippanna, a resident of Shakthinagarwas the student of Srinivas Engineering College.

According to locals though the police arrived at the spot soon after the accident, they did not allow the injured Tippanna to be shifted to a hospital which cost him his life, they alleged.

His body was shifted to Wenlock Hospital in city.
