Udupi: Leela M Pai passes away at 90

Udupi: The wife of famous doctor Kochikar Mohandas Pai and elder sister of MDNL Executive Chairman T. Satish U. Pai, Leela M Pai passed away at the age of 90 on May 23 at Udupi’s Dr TMA Pai hospital.

Leela M Pai was the organizer of Mukunda Krupa School in Udupi and was responsible for the all-around development of the school.

He also served as the convenor of Kadabettu T. A Pai Modern School and the director of the Women’s Consumers’ Co-operative Society. Her last rites were performed at Bedinagudde Rudrabhoomi on Wednesday, May 24.
