The Congress council party meeting was held at a star hotel in Hyderabad where its recently chosen legislators stayed.

The Congress and the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) had moved their recently chosen legislators to Hyderabad on late Thursday to keep the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from poaching them for deserting.

The legislators will come back to Bengaluru before 11 a.m on Saturday, when the new assembly will be met to empower them to take oath.
