Govt school teacher held for molesting minor student in JK's Rajouri

Jammu: A government school teacher has been arrested for allegedly molesting a minor student in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, a police officer said today.

The victim’s family alleged that the teacher, Hardev Singh, molested the child inside the premises of the government middle school on Friday, the officer said.

Following the complaint of the girl’s family, the accused was arrested, he said, adding the teacher has been booked under relevant sections of the Ranbir Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
