If you’re not looking at the BJP website right now- you’re missing out, tweets Ramya. Know why

New Delhi: Actress Ramya, who is in charge of social media and digital communications wing of the Congress didnt miss out on the chance to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the official website of the BJP went down.

Ramya who was among the first to tweet about the malfunction of the BJP website said: Bhaiya aur Bhehno if you’re not looking at the BJP website right now- you’re missing out.

She shared a screenshot of a meme featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. In the video, Chancellor Merkel was seen walking past the Prime Minister as he tried to shake hands with her.

Several people claimed that the website was hacked, though no one has claimed responsibility for the same so far. A user even tweeted that if the party was not able to safeguard its website how it would protect the country.  

Screenshots of the site’s home page, which went viral on social media, show expletive-filled messages. Some of the posts were from about 11 am in the morning.

Access to the site //www.bjp.org, remains restricted. An official response from the party is awaited.

A message on the home screen from the admin, however, says it will be back up soon.

“We’ll be back soon! Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re performing some maintenance at the moment. we’ll be back online shortly!” the message read.
