In Haveri, a picture of a group of people sitting a talking outside Janata Bazar was doing rounds on social media. In the picture, people were seen sitting together, while the circles drawn outside the shop to maintain distance was used to keep their bags in order to maintain the queue. However, after the picture went viral the officials clarified that as the people were tired to stand under the sun, they sat in the shade. Later the officials put a tent outside the shop so that people could stand within the circle without any difficulty.

Mangaluru’s city’s central market too witnessed a large number of people coming out to buy items of daily need in the morning on Saturday, March 28.
