Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrated in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated at the Nehru Maidan here on Monday, November 1.

Minister, S Angara unfurled the national flag and inspected the guard of honour.

Schoolchildren sang songs hailing the Kannada language and culture, including the state anthem.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Vedavyasa Kamath and Dr Bharath Shetty, mayor Premananda Shetty, city police commissioner, N Shashi Kumar, and others were present.
