K'taka COVID-19 update: 8853 new cases; 7101 discharges; 106 deaths on Aug 29

Bengaluru: From midnight of August 28 to the midnight of August 30, 8,853 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 7,101 discharges and 106 COVID-19 deaths.

These new numbers have increased the tallies of the State to 3,35,928 total cases and 5589 total deaths.

Presently, there are 88,091 active cases in the State with 730 admitted in Intensive Care Units.

Districts that reported high incidences of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 2,821, Mysuru 734, Ballari 428, Davanagere 373, Belagavi 357, Dakshina Kannada 334, Tumakuru 314, Dharwad 300, Hassana 268, Udupi 254, Koppala 240, Chikkamagaluru 207, Kalaburagi 199, Gadag 196, Mandya 179, Raichuru 147, Vijayapura 127, Ramanagara 114 and Haveri 105.
