In 2005, the then cabinet finalized a deal of lease cum sale and the price was fixed at Rs 90,000 per acre and the process was continued. We have not sold the land for a less price and gone according to the industrial policy,” explained Mr Khader.
New policy for mobile towers
“A new policy has been introduced for the installation of frequency towers. Earlier there was no proper policy for the mobile towers. For the installation of new towers, the company should register in the local body by paying a fee. As per policy, towers should not be installed close to religious centres, schools and hospitals. The existing towers close to religious centres, schools and hospitals are given three months time, before that they need to rectify or else its license will be cancelled,” informed the minister

The unscientific flyover has become a cause for accidents. Also, issues regarding Ujjodi underpass which is of no use will be discussed,” informed the minister.
