Mangaluru: Accused commits suicide in court complex

Mangaluru: A man accused of sexually assaulting a minor committed suicide in court premises here on Tuesday, August 31.

The deceased is identified as Raviraj (31), a resident of Kinya.

He reportedly jumped off from the sixth floor of Mangaluru district court.

It is learnt that the Raviraj took the extreme step due to mental trauma.

Raviraj was allegedly nabbed by locals while sexually assaulting a minor girl and was later handed over to Ullal police.
