Md Sameer murder case; wife, lover arrested, say reports

Mangaluru: Reportedly, in connection to the mysterious death of Mohammed Sameer from Ganjimutt, his wife Firdous and her alleged lover have been sent to 15 days of judicial custody.

According to sources, Devathanapatti police inspector Sukumar has reportedly confirmed that the accused were arrested from Hosur bus stand on Bengaluru-Tamil Nadu border. The accused were later taken to a secret place for questioning, followed by being sent to 15 days judicial custody.

It is said that during interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to have murdered Sameer on September 15 and said that they had dumped the body in Kodaikanal, in Tamil Nadu.

Ahmed, father of Mohammed Sameer (35) from Badaga Ulipady village had filed a missing complaint stating that that his son Sameer who had left to Bengaluru along with wife and daughter did not return. Apparently he was missing since September 13th.

Sameer spoke to his mother and said that he was in Bengaluru on September 15th. Since then the family was unable to contact him.

Meanwhile, on September 18, Sameer’s wife returned to her house in Kaup along with the child.  She alleged that Sameer was in touch with another girl and had left her and the girl child at Kaup.
