Missing man found dead under Netravati Bridge

Mangaluru: A man who was reported as missing since the last two days was found dead along NH 66 under Netravati River Bridge near Thokkottu.

The deceased is identified as Lokayya from Madoor near Kotekar and is said to be around the age of 70 years. It is suspected that the man might have committed suicide by jumping into the river, but the reason is yet to be ascertained.

The corpse was spotted by some people who immediately informed the police. Apparently the corpse has swollen and the face is beyond recognition.
