Moral policing by right wing actvists in Suratkal: “Is Mangaluru governed by Taliban?”questions Siddaramaiah

Mangaluru: Condemning the recent moral policing incident in Suratkal by right wing activists, Siddaramaiah on Tuesday questioned Karnataka CM Bommai whether Mangaluru is governed by Talibanis.

Taking to twitter, he wrote,” Shri Bommai, Who is governing Mangaluru? BJP govt? Or Taliban?”

On Tuesday, Sangh Parivar activists allegedly assaulted a few students who were travelling together in a vehicle near the Surathkal toll gate.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the video, a few Sangh Parivar activists were seen abusing and threatening the students.

City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar said that five people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
