The Congress party, which is facing dissidence from few of its disgruntled MLAs huddled into a meeting on Wednesday to save the coalition from an intensified BJP onslaught.

According to sources the party is likely to ask few of its ministers namely – UT Khader, Jayamala, Priyank Kharge, Krishna Byregowda to step down and pave way for disgruntled MLAs. However few leaders have expressed that the reshuffling exercise might only worsen the situation and a final decision in this regard would be arrived only after due discussions with Congress high command, they added.
