Petitions on Veerashaiva-Lingayat issue taken up by Karnataka High Court

Bengaluru: Chief Justice Dinesh Maheshwari was hearing a matter regarding granting minority status to Lingayat faith and said that concern is good but over concern is bad.

The petition seeking a stay on the proceedings of the seven-member expert committee which was assigned for the purpose was taken up by the court.

The decision on the matter will be subject to the writ petition result said the expert committee.
