Police seize unaccounted cash of two crores at Old Madras Road

Bengaluru: Police seized cash worth two crore at Old Madras Road on Saturday night here.

The police seized the vehicle and took the driver into custody. The accused claim that the cash was being carried to fill cash into an ATM at Chintamani. However the accused did not produce any documents to substantiate their claim.

The Chief Electoral Office staffs claims that a total sum of Rs. 1.49 crore was seized across the State from Saturday night.
