Speaking on the water level at Thumbay vented dam the DC said, “The water level at Thumbay dam is at 3.42m and is quite enough to be supplied to the people until June 10th. Although some parts of the district have received good rainfall in the last two days, it has not helped the inflow of Netravati River. As per the Meteorological Department’s forecast, the monsoon is expected to arrive on June 6th and we hope the district may not face any water problems,” said Mr Senthil.
