Puttur: Wife commits suicide after husband's death

Puttur: A woman allegedly committed suicide during the funeral rites(Uttarakriye) of her husband in Kondalakana, Panaje village on Saturday, August 20.

The deceased has been identified as Vasanthi (42).

Her husband Krishna Naik died a few days ago and his funeral rites were held on Saturday in Uppinangady.

Vasanthi who was at home hanged herself in her room.
