Puttur: Woman dies of bleeding after giving birth to twins

Puttur: A woman here died due to severe bleeding after giving birth to twins.

Poojita, the deceased woman, was admitted to Puttur’s City Hospital where she delivered the twins on May 9.

Later she started bleeding profusely and was admitted to KMC Hospital in Mangaluru where she partially recovered by evening.

However, later in the night she started to bleed again and died without responding to treatment.

Both the babies are healthy.

Poojita had recently passed her Bachelor of Education degree with distinction.
