Rain: Traffic jam throughout the city

Mangaluru: The heavy rains on Thursday evening and the pot holes on the roads gave birth to traffic jams at many different locations of the city.

Since the area around Pumpwell is filled with potholes, motorists were fighting to reach their destinations. Amidst that, flyover work is being done at Pumpwell circle and the narrow service road here is completely filled with pot holes. Simultaneously, the work also is being done. Hundreds of vehicles ply to this road and in the backdrop of Thursday evening; a traffic jam came into existence from Pumpwell to Thokottu.

Meanwhile, commuters had to suffer traffic at various other locations in the city including PVS circle, Balmatta, Jyoti, Lalbhag, Bejay, Nanthoor, Kankanady, Hampankatta and other places.
