Rameshwaram Cafe blast case: Jailed terror suspect in NIA custody

Bellary: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials have extended their search operations in Bellary, Karnataka, in connection with the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case in Bangalore.

The search was prompted by information suggesting that the Cafe Bomber had transited through Bellary bus stand via Tumkur.

One in custody:

In a significant development, NIA officials have apprehended an individual in connection with the blast case. Minhaj alias Mohammed Sulaiman, 26, a cloth merchant from Ballari, who was originally arrested on December 18, 2023, was brought under NIA custody through a body warrant.

Sulaiman, associated with the banned organization PFI (Popular Front of India), was initially arrested by NIA officials on December 18 last year. Subsequently, he was detained in Bellary Jail. However, Suleiman has now been arrested again in connection with the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case.

Investigations into the bomb blast case have been escalated, with authorities leaving no stone unturned to uncover the truth behind the incident.
