Shivamogga: 20 persons injured after bus swerves off road, falls into ditch

A private bus headed swerved off the road and fell into a ditch near Sidlipura in Bhadravathi taluk injuring as many as 20 passengers.

Three passengers sustained serious injuries and were admitted to McCann hospital in Shivamogga for treatment.

The mishap took place on Sunday when the bus, headed towards Chitradurga from Shivamogga, allowed passage for a lorry coming from the opposite direction.

A case has been registered.
