SIT arrest one more in Gauri Lankesh death case

Belagavi: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) who is probing the murder case of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh, arrested one more accused and detained two more for interrogation here on Wednesday. 

Sources confirmed that the SIT had picked up three people from the city; of which they arrested one and subjected the other two to interrogation. 

The arrested accused has been identified as Bharat from Sambhaji Galli Mahadwar Road in Belagavi police sources added. 

Parushuram Waghmare, the prime accused who has been arrested by SIT was brought to the forest areas in Khanapur in Belagavi during July for inquiries. He had reportedly undergone firearm training here.
