By-pass, four laning
As the state highway has completed the process of making it a national highway, in future the road will be developed into a four lane. As the road pass through the middle of Sullia town, in the future during the four laning, land acquiring is inevitable. Hence there is fear in the town that it may cause a problem to the shops and business in the town. But the people’s representatives and officials have assured that instead a bypass will be created and the idea to widen the road within the town will be dropped. According to the report procured under the Right to Information Act a consultant has been appointed for the creation of the bypass, and the bypass will be decided as per the report submitted by the consultant.
