Thekkatte: Car-truck collision leaves car stuck on divider; passengers escape

Thekkatte: A truck collided with a Hyundai i20 causing the car to fly and get stuck in the divider near Sri Ganesh Silks at the National Highway 66 here on Friday, September 19.

A reputed physician from Kundapura was driving the car to the Sri Anjaneya temple at Saligrama while the truck carrying palm oil to Mangaluru was on the same route.

The truck collided with the car causing the car to lose control and skid over to the divider. The car’s right side was damaged in the accident.

Kota police station personnel rushed to the spot to inspect the accident.
