Udupi: Car gets dragged by tipper after collision near Kannangar bypass

An incident was reported where a Santro car collided with a tipper from behind near the Kannangar bypass and was inadvertently dragged to the Hejamadi toll gate.

The incident came to light when the tipper driver, upon being informed by another vehicle, finally halted at Hejamadi.

Promptly responding to the situation, the Padubidri police arrived at the scene and initiated a comprehensive investigation. The passengers traveling in the car sustained injuries and were subsequently admitted to a private hospital in Mukka for medical treatment.
