Udupi: Serial theft in Katapady

Katapady: Thieves robbed several business establishments here on the Shirva link road near the Katapady police outpost.

A bakery, medical shop furniture shop, grocery store, and other shops were targeted by the thieves. They, who gained entry by removing the roof tiles, decamped with valuables, sources said.

The shopkeepers said assets including cc camera, DVR, and cash were stolen.

Kapu police carried out an inspection and collected evidence from the crime scene.
