Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the city bus stand here, the transport minister slammed Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s remark seeking inclusion of Belagavi, Karwar and Nippani into Maharashtra.
“Belagavi is Karnataka’s second capital. It along with Karwar and Nippani are an integral part of Karnataka. The three-party alliance led by Shiv Sena must handle the Covid19 situation in their state. They are raking the boundary issue to divert attention from their failures,” said Savadi.
On issue of the by-election in Belagavi, Savadi said that few names have been forwarded to the central leadership and the same will be finalised by them.
