For the past 14 years, Bengaluru-based businessman S. Gopal Rao has been rendering this unique ‘Seva’ with pious devotion to the deity and for the honour of Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D. Veerendra Heggade.
About 15 loads of vegetables, fruits and flowers have been used for this year’s decoration. The front of the temple, interiors, sanctum sanctorum of the deity, pillars, Dr Heggade’s residence, Annapurna Chhatra, and other important places have been decked up.
Around 90 people toiled round the clock for 5 days to complete the work before New Year’s eve. Devotees from all over the state are flocking to the temple on the occasion of New Year.
