Upendra quits as KPJP president, following conflicts with the leaders with the KPJP party. It was last October that the actor joined the KPJP, which was established in 2015 by Mahesh Gowda.

Addressing the media persons, actor Upendra said “From this minute on, we are beginning another party on the principles of Prajakeeya,” The Kannada word ‘Prajakeeya’ that he instituted means people centric politics. “The party will be set up at the earliest. I’m told that to it will take no less than 45 days to finish customs associated with beginning a party. I’m consulting my lawyers on making it speedy,” he said.

Upendra’s supporters in KPJP have quit KPJP. “The candidates are finalized. On the off chance that our party gets an image, we will compete for as many Assembly seats as possible. If not this elections, we will take a gander at polls in future,” Upendra stated, discounting handling candidates as Independents in the upcoming Assembly polls.

The actor stated that he had “faith and confidence” in the Prajakeeya idea. “Straightforwardness in governance, improved education and quality health care will be our core interest. For instance, Indira Canteens came up in only four months. For what reason wouldn’t we be able to utilize a similar development innovation to build schools in a brief period,” he inquired.

KPJP leader and founder Gowda had blamed Upendra for taking one-sided choices. The actor, in any case, rubbished the charges and said Gowda and others were conflicting with Prajakeeya standards.
