Sangeeta (28) was killed yesterday and her body was thrown in bushes near the village. The body was recovered by the police after locals saw it, they said. According to the victim’s family, she was pregnant and was being harassed for dowry, the police said.
On the complaint of the woman’s family, an FIR has been lodged in this connection against six people including her husband, a police official said, adding a probe into the matter is on.
